I wanted to share a book with everyone today. This is the post from bareasscottagewriters.blogspot.com from Friday. This Friday Jennifer Echols will be joining us at Bare Ass Cottage to talk about her book. I hope you can join us. :) We thought today would be a fun day to talk about something we love. Books. :-)
Last Saturday was Heart of Dixie's Annual Readers Luncheon in Huntsville, Alabama. It was a day full of meeting new people, seeing those you haven't seen in a while, eating great food, and talking about books. I loved it and had a blast!
When it came time to buy books there was one book I wanted and lucky for me the author was there. What did I do? I went over to get my copy of her book. I was a happy camper and ready to start reading.
I came home with my goodies and book in hand. Then I grabbed my book and told my hubby, "I'm off duty." He laughed at me and said, "see you in a little while." Granted I was sitting on the couch in the room with him, but he stopped all the kids as they would come in and say, "Mom." He tended to their needs while I read my book. Got to love that, thank you baby!
I was HOOKED! I've laughed and gasped and loved every minute of this book. It is a MUST read for any YA fan. It doesn't matter if you are a YA or Adult this has a message for everyone. LOVED IT!!

going too far

Meg is ready to escape from her small town Hell hole. She wants nothing more than to graduate high school and never return, dispite her parents attempts to keep her trapped in their slice of Hell. But one night Meg's wild ways lands her in major trouble and close to death.
John is the tough cop he has always wanted to be. He follows the rules and makes sure others pay the price, which is exactly what he plans to do when he finds Meg and her friends breaking the law. He is determined to teach Meg a lesson she will never forget.
Only John wasn't expecting Meg to push his buttons and make him question his own choices.
Sparks fly between Meg and John as they push each other to the limits of no return. Will Meg push John's buttons too far and will John stop Meg before she goes too far?
Ms. Echols has a way with words. This book is full of excitement, romance, and so much more. Meg's voice is powerful and witty. I loved every page of this book and when I was done, I wanted more.
Make sure you join us next Friday when Ms. Echols stops by to talk about the book and the characters. I can't wait!
